Welcome back to school everyone! If you are interested in participating in the 2010 Envirothon (March through April), please drop by room 228 or comment here through the blog (be sure to leave your name in the comment). I'm especially looking for grade 9 and 10 students, but seniors are also welcome to participate.

Envirothon team members....some of you still haven't returned your modules to me. Please do so ASAP.

Thanks for another great Envirothon season! Looking forward to next year's teams.

Team members, please be in the lobby no later than 9:10 Thursday morning to board the bus to Wawanosh. If you haven't given me your permission form yet, you must bring that to me in order to go on the trip.

Teams, remember our first workshop day is this coming Tuesday March 31st. We'll be in our library and all the teams are coming. So, please come to the library as early as you can to help set up. Thanks.
On Tuesday, I'll be giving you the permission forms to participate in an extra-curricular event. You'll need to get this signed and bring in $20 to help cover bus costs.

So, it looks like we have a few interested grade 10 students....Yeah!
Tyler B., Jack W., and Fraser K. will be participating on the "junior" team along with seniors Katie C. and Steph B. I would love to see one or two more grade 10's come out as alternates. Let me know if you are interested.

CHSS Senior Team 2009

Here's who we've got for this year's team:
Steph S. - Aquatics
Gary P. - Soils?
Jeff G - Forestry
Courtney K. - Topic?
Paul H. - Topic?
Katie C. - Soils
Steph B. - Wildlife

As you can see, we have 7 repeating students and we only need 5 for a team. So, we need 2 of you to lead the "junior" team....although it will be a strong junior/senior combo team!
I plan to invite at least 5 grade 10's to give it a shot. If they all participate, then both teams will have an alternate in case of illness or other obligations that prevent someone from competing.

Please plan on attending a brief meeting on Thursday March 12th at lunch....Thanks!!!
